I ended my wedding season on December 30th this year at Theresa & Rob’s gorgeous Hotel MacDonald wedding. At any given time, the Wedgewood Room is beautiful, but it was the prettiest I’d ever seen for this particular wedding. It must have been the huge tree in the middle of the room that just pushed it over the edge… i’ll show some of those photos a little later on. For now, we’ll step out on to the terrace to for one of my favourite wintery formal photos from the wedding day with Rob & Theresa! Congratulations Theresa & Rob!

Edmonton Wedding Photographers | Theresa & Rob | winter wedding sneak peek
Saturday, January 5th, 2013Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Evette & Arthur | Faculty Club Wedding Sneak Peak
Monday, September 5th, 2011Here we are, moving along to Evettte and Arthur’s fabulous wedding at the U of A Faculty Club on August 12th. I love Friday weddings! It’s nice to be able to go out and photograph and not worry about running into lots of other wedding parties, especially when you choose to do photos on the U of A campus, it’s quite the destination for wedding photos in Edmonton. This is one of my favourite shots of Evette & Arthur because they look so darn stylish!
Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Leanne & Tyler | Wedding Sneak Peek
Monday, September 5th, 2011Wowee… August was a crazy month for me for weddings… I had 8 of them and I’m only now getting the chance to even blog the sneak peeks! August 5th was a gorgeous day that was spent with Leanne and Tyler and their amazing wedding party! Their ceremony and reception was at the fabulous Union Bank Inn downtown, so we stayed close by for all of the family and wedding party photos. Here’s one of my favourites of the wedding party in an awesome downtown parkade!
Red Deer Wedding Photographers | Maria & Kevin | Wedding Sneak Peek
Tuesday, August 16th, 2011A few weeks ago I was in Red Deer for Maria & Kevin’s gorgeous wedding in Coronation Park. We we lucky to have great weather for the outdoor ceremony and for the bridal photos in the park. Maria had wanted something with a little bit of spice so we went for a sexy wedding photo in one of the gorgeous trees in the park. This is probably my favourite photo from he whole day (maybe to be rivalled by some of the photos during the crazy hail storm later that day!). More to come soon!
Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Kathryn & Lucas | Sneak Peek
Sunday, July 31st, 2011Last weekend I had the pleasure of second shooting a fabulous wedding with Sheri from Capture It Photography at Shalom Park. I love the chance to second shoot because I’m not the one running the show and I get to try some different angles that I normally wouldn’t get to do otherwise, so it’s always super fun for me. Plus, I love being at weddings, so I go as often as I can! Kathryn & Lucas were a fabulous couple and I really loved getting to tag along to watch such wonderful people get married. Here’s one of my favourite wedding party shots from the day in downtown Edmonton on the way to the LRT.
Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Amanda & Jon’s Wedding | Greenwood Inn
Saturday, July 30th, 2011Whew… it’s been a while since I’ve blogged, it’s been such a busy wedding season! Amanda & Jon were the lucky winners of my A Love Story grand prize giveaway last fall and they won a wedding photography package. Their wedding was at the end of May, the perfect time of year to get married. The ceremony was at Millwoods Presbyterian and we did family and wedding party photos at Jackie Parker Park (where I managed to find a cherry tree that still had blossoms) followed by the reception at the Greenwood Inn.
Here’s a few shots from the day!

Canmore Wedding Photographer | Bethany & Jason at Silvertip Resort | Sneak Peek
Wednesday, July 27th, 2011A few weeks ago I had a super busy wedding weekend and left the rain behind in Edmonton to head out to Canmore for Bethany and Jason’s wedding at Silvertip Resort. I am absolutely in love with the first dance photos where they danced outside on the patio with the golf course and the rocky mountains as a breathtaking backdrop. Here’s one of my favourites from the dance!
Edmonton Wedding Photographers | Anastasia & James’ | Sneak Peak
Wednesday, July 27th, 2011Anastasia and James’ wedding was a few weeks ago during a crazy wet weekend in Edmonton. Just the day before I photographed a wedding during a huge downpour and was afraid we’d have the same fate again for Anastasia and James’ wedding. Halfway through the ceremony, the clounds seemed to part and the sun came out and I was feeling very optimistic. Leaving the ceremony we were greated with perfect weather so we were able to head off to take photos outside at the Royal Alberta Museum. Within 10 minutes of finishing the outdoor wedding photos, it’s clouded over and the rain began again. Absolute perfect timing! Here’s one shot from the wedding portrait session!
Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Tamara & Cory | Sneak Peek
Monday, July 18th, 2011It just poured and poured and poured on Tamara and Cory’s wedding day. I really didn’t think it was possible for it to rain just that much in one day… SO we had a few locations picked out to take photos, and of course, with the rain, we had to go with the back-up plan. I just love shooting in parking garages! Especially on Friday evenings when all the cars are gone and we can do whatever we want! I think concrete can be very pretty when photographed the right way… like for Tamara & Cory’s photos! Love them! Here’s one of my favourites!
