A few weeks ago I was in Red Deer for Maria & Kevin’s gorgeous wedding in Coronation Park. We we lucky to have great weather for the outdoor ceremony and for the bridal photos in the park. Maria had wanted something with a little bit of spice so we went for a sexy wedding photo in one of the gorgeous trees in the park. This is probably my favourite photo from he whole day (maybe to be rivalled by some of the photos during the crazy hail storm later that day!). More to come soon!

Edmonton Wedding Photographer | 2011 weddings update
Tuesday, March 8th, 2011This past weekend was my first wedding of 2011 and it was a great one. Really, to start the season with the first wedding at Hotel MacDonald has to be a good thing! Pretty excited for this year because I get to travel away from Edmonton a little for weddings. So far I’ve got Canmore, Lake Louise and Lloydminster to look forward to in addition to all of the Edmonton weddings. I do hope to have a few in Calgary though, and to help that, for new 2011 and 2012 weddings in Calgary, there are no travel fees! There’s still a few prime dates left for 2011 too!

Saturday, January 8th, 2011Ok, so yesterday I saw that that Junebug Weddings had posted some more shots from their Best of 2010 Weddings, so of course I went to look to see the awesomeness. What a great surprise!

Edmonton Wedding Photographers | Wedding Photo sneak peek! Muttart Conservatory at night with Jaime & Bruce in Edmonton
Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010Last night I had the joy of capturing Jaime and Bruce get married at the Muttart Conservatory with a beautiful wedding ceremony in the Holiday pyramid! It was the winter solstice yesterday, so it made for a chilly night when we stepped out to get a few shots in front of the building. Here’s one of my favourites from the night!
Edmonton Portrait Photographers | Wintery engagement session near U of A in Edmonton with Kelsey & Jeff
Monday, November 22nd, 2010This past weekend I got together with Kelsey and Jeff on a very chilly Saturday for their engagement session. I fractured my ankle a few weeks ago so I was still rockin’ my roboboot with toes hanging out while I photographed them. I think it was a little funny to see me hobbling around after them. I absolutely adore Kelsey and Jeff, and I like them even more after spending time with them! They are so cute together! I loooove these photos and I so can’t wait for their wedding next summer in Lloydminster! Here’s a few shots from the extra chilly day!
Amber & Bill’s outdoor wedding in Red Deer Country
Wednesday, August 4th, 2010A few weeks ago, July 24 to be exact, we were in Red Deer County on the nicest day in July (after a month of rain and crazy weather) for Amber and Bill’s wedding that took place in Amber’s parent’s backyward (well, and front yard too). It was a gorgeous hot day, with fabulously blue skies and the ceremony took place on the front lawn. We went across the street to a cool little knoll to start with the “formal” pictures and had a good time taking photos of the family there too. The guys decided to have some fun on the swings and were pretty adventurous for leaping off from great heights while they were waiting. We also headed down the street to shoot near a canola field, and Trish decided to stop this awesome purple Corvette Stringray that was driving by to see if we could pose by the car… fabulous! The reception was under a tent filled with red, orange and yellow paper lanterns and was beautiful! We had such a great time and Amber & Bill are such fabulous people! So happy that we could be there to record it all for them!
After we left to head back to Edmonton, we decided to stop in Lacombe for snacks and a potty break and I fell in love with the little town! I want to photograph weddings in Lacombe, so if you are thinking about getting married there… we need to have a chat!
