Well, here we are again, less than 24 hours from getting home from Patti & Raj’s fabulous rainy wedding yesterday and I’ve already picked a few favourites to show off. Well, I’m only ging to show one here and I’m having a hard time deciding which one. Yesterday was a very soggy day in Edmonton and I’m a little unhappy that my n0-rain wish wasn’t granted. That’s ok though, we made it through and I just love the photos from the wedding. I’m not not going to give all the details about the day in this post, I’ve decided to show one image out side of Convocation Hall after the ceremony where the rain stopped for just a little while before we all were whicked away to the reception. We did most of the “formals” before the ceremony when the rain just wouldn’t stop. That short window after the ceremony with just Patti & Raj was pure magic and so fresh and green! Ok, here’s one of my favourites… I love how happy and smiley they are! I hope you love it as much as I do and I am so happy I got to be their photographer!

Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Patti & Raj’s Wedding | Sneak Peek
Sunday, June 19th, 2011Edmonton Engagement Photography | Tierza & Matthew in the River Valley
Tuesday, June 7th, 2011A few weeks ago I got together with Tierza and Matthew in Emily Murphy Park for their engagement session. Of course, we chose a time when mosquitos were still ruling the Earth here in Edmonton, although they did a great job of ignoring them for their photos. Me, on the otherhand, well, I admit to doing the leg slapping dance a little more than I wanted to. Was worth it though, cause their photos are gorgeous! I am pretty darn excited for their wedding coming up at the end of July. Here are a few of my favourites from their beautiful evening session.

Edmonton Engagement Photographer | Ashley & Kevin in the Cherry Trees
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011I have been waiting and waiting and waiting some more for the cherry trees to finally blossom in Edmonton this spring. I found myself driving around, trying to spot an area with a few pretty pink blossoms and it took forever for that to happen this year. A watched tree never blooms perhaps? When I finally spotted some trees in bloom, I knew that’s where I had to meet Ashley & Kevin for their engagement session. Their wedding is coming up super fast, but I am oh so excited for it. I loved the photos we took in the tiny cherry grove. Ashley and Kevin are so sweet together so I just know their wedding photos are going to be fabulous. Here are a few of my favourites from the day where we luckily avoided the rain. While most of the images are from the cherry trees, we didn’t stay there the whole time! ![]()

Edmonton Wedding Photographer | Kelly & Dwight’s wedding | Sneak Peek
Monday, May 30th, 2011Kelly and Dwight were married in Edmonton on the May long weekend which also happens to be my anniversary weekend. Impeccable taste, I must say!
Unlike most May long weekends, this one was warm! Although, sadly, filled with mosquitos (my itchy spotted legs still curse you mosquitos!), we still managed to get some bridal party photos outside. This is one of favourite group shots. Yes, the traffic over the bridge was deafeningly loud. Yes, there might have been a few too many pigeons flying about. But I thought it was totally worth it! Not sure if everyone else agreed, but look at how awesome it looks!? Thank you to a great wedding party for suffering it out for me! I really appreciate it! More wedding images coming later, but enjoy this sneak peek for now!

Wednesday, December 8th, 2010I got together with the Jama family to do some post-wedding portraits. We met at the legislature grounds in Edmonton for some more formals pictures and then we had some fun goofing around too!
Here’s a few of my favourites!

Details & Decor: Mayfield Inn
Tuesday, June 8th, 2010This past weekend I went a shot the reception set-up at the Mayfield Inn for a wedding by Edmonton Wedding Planner Julianne Cragg from A Modern Proposal. The couple hadn’t contracted their photographer for the reception, so Juli hired me to shoot the details for her. Wedding planners rely on the photographers to provide them with good images to showcase their work and I was happy to help Juli out.
The flowers for the centrpieces are from The Wild Orchid (my favourite!!) that Juli designed arranged for her clients and the head table flowers are from Flowers by Merle.
The gorgeous gold and dark purple linens were from Special Event Rentals.
The super awesome cake (that I am still swooning over) was from Deliciously Different Cakes.
