Edmonton Engagement Photographers | Chad & Laura | River valley & Art gallery session
Friday, December 14th, 2012I’m pretty excited to show off Laura and Chad… I’m pretty darn fond of them! We shot their engagement session back in the fall on two different days because the pesky sun just wouldn’t stay in the sky for us to do all we wanted to do! Luckily I was able to convince them to hang out with me more than once by bribery with peanut butter M&Ms… who can say no to that? We hung out in the river valley one day and took some of my favourite photos of the two of them just being goofy and snuggling. The next time out we stayed a little more in the downtown area around the art gallery for a little more urban look. These are some of my top picks from the sessions and I have to say, I love the ring shots… one for Chad and one for Laura 
So very excited for their wedding at Santa Maria Goretti and the Shaw next summer!

Edmonton Engagement Photographers | Jenny & Kerrie | Winter engagement session
Wednesday, November 14th, 2012I met with Jenny & Kerrie for their engagement session downtown and we wanted to do something a little urban a little edgy. It seemed everywhere we went we ran in to some interesting characters… but we still got great photos! I loved the shopping cart ride… I used to like to do that as a kid so it was fun to do it for an engagement session.Towards the end of the session the snow started to fall harder and those are some of my favourite photos!! Jenny & Kerrie got married on 12-12-12 and I will be blogging their fabulous wedding soon!

Tuesday, October 30th, 2012I got together with Candice and Jordan back in September for their engagement session. We wanted something a little industrial with a cool bridge so we drove out of town for this awesome bridge, not realizing, of course, that while the bridge looked awesome, we didn’t expect all of the bugs to be hanging out at it too! We toughed it out to get some pretty awesome photos before heading into Stony Plain to pick up Jordan’s bike to finish up the rest of their engagement session. It got a little bit steamy (as it should!) and these are some of my favourite photos from the shoot. I can’t wait for their wedding next July!!
Edmonton Portrait Photographer – Announcing October mini sessions on October 20 & 21!
Saturday, October 6th, 2012Wow! It’s been a busy summer for weddings for me, but it’s now slowing down enough that I can do some portrait sessions! I’ve set the weekend of October 20 & 21 for the mini sessions and these sessions will be in a gorgeous spot in Mill Creek Ravine in Edmonton. Perfect fall colours and the ground will be covered in pretty leaves, doesn’t get better than that! These sessions are good for couples/engagements, families (including fur babies), kids over 1 year old and individuals (great for some pretty outdoor head shots!). The mini sessions are 45 minutes and include 25 edited hi-res files, 2 8×10 prints, and the best part, 25 custom folder 4×5.5 holiday cards and are priced at $450+gst! It’s a pretty awesome deal, if I do say so myself!

Thursday, June 28th, 2012I met up Nicole and Julio near the river valley for a sweet couple’s session. You could tell from how the interacted with each other just how in love they were. This shoot wasn’t technically an engagement shoot although it didn’t take Julio long after to pop the question! I’m pretty darn excited for their wedding next August!

Friday, June 1st, 2012May is a magical time of year in Edmonton. I get excited for a few different reasons. I was a May bride, so, of course, I get excited because it’s the month of my wedding anniversary, but I also get excited because for a few weeks, we get to enjoy the gorgeous pink cherry blossoms! The cherry blossoms were the perfect backdrop for Jack and Wendy’s engagement session! I can’t wait for their wedding in November!

Edmonton Lifestyle Portrait Photographer | May & June mini photo sessions
Sunday, April 8th, 2012The nice weather is finally on the way (and I hope by saying that I don’t jinx it!) so it’s time to get out and have your photo taken! The mini portrait sessions are available in the Edmonton area only. The session is $350+gst and includes a 45 minute photo session, 25 edited hi-res digital files, 1 8×10 print and 2 5×7 prints. Sessions are available on weekdays/nights and on weekends. If you are hoping to get a cherry blossom session, book your session for May! We can’t quite predict when the trees will blossom, so exact dates will be booked a bit closer to May. We’ve got lots of different options for the sessions, we c an do urban and hang out in the downtown area, we can go industrial, we can head to the parks and to the fields for a more natural look. Edmonton Engagement Photography | Tierza & Matthew in the River Valley
Tuesday, June 7th, 2011A few weeks ago I got together with Tierza and Matthew in Emily Murphy Park for their engagement session. Of course, we chose a time when mosquitos were still ruling the Earth here in Edmonton, although they did a great job of ignoring them for their photos. Me, on the otherhand, well, I admit to doing the leg slapping dance a little more than I wanted to. Was worth it though, cause their photos are gorgeous! I am pretty darn excited for their wedding coming up at the end of July. Here are a few of my favourites from their beautiful evening session.

Edmonton Engagement Photographer | Ashley & Kevin in the Cherry Trees
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011I have been waiting and waiting and waiting some more for the cherry trees to finally blossom in Edmonton this spring. I found myself driving around, trying to spot an area with a few pretty pink blossoms and it took forever for that to happen this year. A watched tree never blooms perhaps?When I finally spotted some trees in bloom, I knew that’s where I had to meet Ashley & Kevin for their engagement session. Their wedding is coming up super fast, but I am oh so excited for it. I loved the photos we took in the tiny cherry grove. Ashley and Kevin are so sweet together so I just know their wedding photos are going to be fabulous. Here are a few of my favourites from the day where we luckily avoided the rain. While most of the images are from the cherry trees, we didn’t stay there the whole time!
