This wedding bouquet is sophisticated with white orchids and black (purple) Callas with some folded leaves. It’s classically pretty and just perfect for a wedding!

If you have purple in mind for your wedding colours this year, this is the bouquet for you! It has thistles too, which are my favourite!! Actually, I guess this is purple, pink and a hint of blue. Either way, it’s gorgeous and I love it!

A few months ago I was a guest at Susan & Krister’s (you might recognize them as the masters behind the lens from Picture That Photography in Edmonton) wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs, in, you guessed it, Banff, AB. Their wedding was only my second ever that I had attended where I wasn’t an official photographer. Susan asked me if I would get the detail shots from the day and I was more than happy to do it since I had no idea what to at a wedding if I wasn’t photographing it! It was a beautiful day full of gorgeous details. I loooooved the flowers! Susan’s bouquet had tiny gold threads mixed amongst black callas, billy balls, pink peonies and a few other flowers that I can’t identify. I loved the string slowers with the buttons and the bouquet handle was fabulous wrapped in lace with a jeweled brooch.

I want to see this bouquet by the Wild Orchid Flower Shop everywhere this year! It’s a stunner! White orchids (Cymbidium maybe?), pink hydrangeas and black callas with some aweosme striped leaves that I have no idea what they are… awesome! And look at the wrapped handle! So pretty!
