Saturday found me traveling to Leduc in a winter wonderland for Lisa & Greg’s fabulous wedding. Who would have though there would be snow falling on May 29th, seriously? I was joined by Jacquie of JM Photography & Design (she was my official second shooter for the day) and by Harvey from Love Bucket Photography
who was helping with a video project for the day. I joined Lisa at her paren’ts home in Leduc where she was getting ready surrounded by an army of lovely ladies. I have to admit that I’ve been excited for quite awhile for Lisa & Greg’s wedding, and I have developed a huge crush on Lisa’a wedding shoes. Now, you might wonder how one could have a crush on a pair of shoes… well, hello… they are the Something Blue shoes from Manolo Blahnik! This girl can’t walk in heels, but I can totally appreciate their awesomeness!
Lisa and Greg were married in a lovely ceremony at St. David’s United Church in Leduc. After the ceremony we headed off in the limo to downtown Edmonton to shoot at an awesome abandoned parkade for the formal photos, and then we headed of to a rockin’ reception at the Marriott River Cree. The ballroom was decorated in ivory and black and was absolutely stunning!
I am so happy that Lisa and Greg let me be their to capture their awesome wedding day!
