Canmore Portrait Photographer | Julie & Adam | post-wedding couples session

Oh, we’re going a while back here to October for this lovely session in Canmore with Julie & Adam. We had been trying to figure out when to do the session for a few months before we could settle on a date. Originally it was going to be an an engagement shoot, but we couldn’t get our schedules to match up before their wedding in August (Julie just so happens to be an awesome wedding photographer based in Canmore… lucky girl!) so we decided to do a post-wedding shoot in their fabulous wedding clothes with awesome Canmore landscape as the backdrop. These are some of my favourite images from the post-wedding couples shoot!

Edmonton Engagement Photographer | Ashley & Kevin in the Cherry Trees

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting some more for the cherry trees to finally blossom in Edmonton this spring. I found myself driving around, trying to spot an area with a few pretty pink blossoms and it took forever for that to happen this year. A watched tree never blooms perhaps?When I finally spotted some trees in bloom, I knew that’s where I had to meet Ashley & Kevin for their engagement session. Their wedding is coming up super fast, but I am oh so excited for it. I loved the photos we took in the tiny cherry grove. Ashley and Kevin are so sweet together so I just know their wedding photos are going to be fabulous. Here are a few of my favourites from the day where we luckily avoided the rain. While most of the images are from the cherry trees, we didn’t stay there the whole time!

Edmonton Engagement Photographer | A downtown Edmonton Couple’s session with Pragya & Michael

A few weeks ago I got together for an engagement session with Pragya and Michael. We headed out to the alley behind my office because the light was just fabulous there. They are super cute together and are so much fun! Once the sun started to drop away, we headed into the sprinkler room in my building for a few shots that were just a little bit darker. I can’t wait for their wedding and it’s coming fast! Just a few weeks away! Here’s a few of my favourites!

Edmonton Couples Photographers | Tina & Ryan near Kinsman Park

Last weekend I got together at the Kinsmen Park in the Edmonton River valley with Tina & Ryan for a couples’ portrait session. The weather was perfect and the light was just beautiful. I’d never actually spent anytime in this particular park, but I think i’m going to like it a lot now! There’s lots of options with the bridge and the trees and the pretty buildings. Edmonton Couples Photographer | Jamie & Mitchell’s engagement session at Whitemud Park

Last week we had lots of warm, sunny weather… perfect conditions. Well, we had that every day BUT the day that we got together with Jamie & Mitchell for their engagement session. It worked out well though, I think, because we wanted a slightly darker vibe and we definitely got it with those dramatic skies! Jamie & Mitchell were such troopers! It was cold, the rain wouldn’t stop, and at one point, I feared we would all blow over from the brutal wind, but we did it! I love these photos, here’s a few of my favourites! I can’t wait for their wedding!

Edmonton Engagement Photography | Anastasia & James at Paul Kane Park

Last week was pretty busy for engagement sessions! I met Anastasia and James at Paul Kane Park in Oliver for their engagement session now that the weather is finally getting nicer and it’s not so chilly in the evening. We were lucky to have such pretty natural light for their session. Their wedding is coming up quickly in July and I think it’s going to be lots of fun!
