Here comes a small collection of stunning and unique bouquets that were featured at Bridal Conference back in October 2011. All of these gorgeous designs were made by Janine Sebastian (formerly of La Piazza Dasee) and she now has a new shop called Fabloomosity and we’ll be sure to see even more fantastic creations from her there! The new shop is not too far from ENV studio, it’s over in the Mercer building at 104 and 104. Be sure to check the store out for your wedding flowers and just because.
This one has shocking raspberry Cockscomb and pretty grey Dusty Miller (I think it’s dusty Miller… if it isn’t, please tell me what it is!) in a unique fan shape!

Pretty purple flowers mixed with super trendy succulents. The succulents add a bit of weight to the bouquet, but you don’t have to worry about them wilting at the end of a long, hot wedding day!

Pretty pink bouquet with glass bubbles mixed in.

This one is heavy, but it’s an mix of cotton and succulents… this bouquet with look amazing for months after the wedding!

This a fun and easy to make bouquet using paper butterflies and black feathers.

Can’t go wrong with a classic! Pretty cream and green with a few shiny brooch accents.

A bold cluster of yellow billy balls… just perfect! The black tulle and butterflies add a little whimsy.

I was super excited to kick off my 2012 wedding season with Heather & Jon’s beautiful wedding in the Wedgewood Room at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton. Since the hotel is just so awesome and the weather was cooperating, we stayed outside to get photos of Heather & Jon together. Jon & Heather specifically requested for most of their wedding photos to be Black & White and I love that idea since I think nothing looks better than a crisp B&W photo. Here’s one of my favourite images as we finished up their portrait session before they headed to in to share some amazing news with their wedding guests… What news you’re wondering? Well, they’re pregnant…. and with identical twins! How awesome! Oh so many congratulations to Jon & Heather!

I was a little worried when I left Calgary to drive in to Lake Louise for Nyla & Chance’s wedding at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. It was only early October and it was cold and rainy and I knew once I got past Banff it would just get colder driving into the mountains. I got to the hotel (and wow, is it ever spectacular!) and the temperature was hovering just above ) degrees and I was afraid it was going to be too cold for photos outside. I wandered in to catch the boys getting ready in the awesome suite where the ceremony was to take place and then went over to hang out with Nyla and her sister as they were getting ready. There we lots of pretty details for me to play with too. After the getting ready we headed over the Belvedere Suite where the ceremony was going to take place on the Balcony overlooking Lake Louise and the mountains beyond…
It was a small gathering of close family and friends. I followed Nyla as she snuck toward the suite and then I ran upstairs to capture her entrance! It was a sweet ceremony. Afterwards we braved the cold and rain and took photos outside on the hotel grounds before heading back to the suite for a few more shots. Just as we were packing it up for the day, the sun broke though and we took some of my favourite photos of the day!
Don’t be deceived… it was darn chilly in Lake Louise that day!

I’m not sure if this is a ring shot… or me trying to show off the view from the room… either way, gorgeous!

Ok, this one, however, is ALL about the rings! Look at them! Wow!

Pretty shoes, pretty dress, sparkly earrings… I’m in love..

Such pretty sisters.

Every princess needs someone to put her shoes on for her! Especially on the wedding day.

A little money under the shoe is good luck!

I love how excited Nyla is!

A little toast to get things started!

A few minutes with the boys before the ceremony.

This fabulous red and black bouquet is super glam and it is a very bold choice for a wedding bouquet! The red roses are covered by a layer of French netting (the stuff used for birdcage veils) and has a mix of black crystal for a little shine. There are hints of orange tucked into this bouquet, but i think it would be amazing with solid red roses. This bouquet is definitely making a statement! This bouquet was created by Janine Sebastian, formerly of La Piazza Dasee.

How can I even use words to describe the sheer awesomeness of this black feather and brooch bouquet? It’s pretty much the epitome of all wedding bouquets. Looking for a little glamour? This one is it! So much sparkle! So very shiny! And, well, it’s Black! You can’t go wrong with black. It’s just amazing. This amazing bouquet was made by Janine Sebastian (formerly of La Piazza Dasee) and it’s just spectacular!
